Bottle Description

First released in 2010, Tun 1401 was an incredibly popular small batch release due to the sheer quality of the whisky itself, thought to contain older whiskies as well as younger ones. The Casks were housed in the famous Warehouse 24 were carefully hand selected by the illustious maltmaster David Stewart MBE then married together in Tun 1401 for several months before bottling at Cask strength to produce this much revered expression. This particular small batch expression was matured using a combination of seven Traditional Oak Casks and seven Sherry Butts.

One of 2,226 bottles produced.
